Seafood is a vital part of a healthy diet and remains a safe, smart choice at grocery and restaurants. The U.S. Dietary Guidelines for Americans recommends 2-3 seafood per week. Do not stop eating seafood.

Sunnyvale Seafood is committed to serving to all the communities we serve, and protecting the health and safety of our employees, customers and partners. We’re proud to serve our customers as an essential service across North America during this critical time. We continue to monitor the issue as it develops and evolve our policies to comply with public health guidance.

 

Safety Measures

We’ve implemented multiple stringent safety measures across all of our service regions:

1.Prior to entering the office/warehouse facility, each employee must ensure that his/her body temperature is normal. Employees are required to stay home and self-quarantine if they feel sick or show symptoms such as coughing, fever, or cold.

2.We equip work areas with hand sanitizers, disinfectant wipes, and other personal protection equipment (PPE). All employees are required wear masks be on-site and recommended practicing social distancing.

3. We require delivery drivers and warehouse employees whose jobs require them to be on-site to wear masks and gloves, to wash or disinfect their hands before starting their shift and going back to work.

4.We’ve increased the frequency of daily routine inspections and disinfection of all facilities. We have formulated SSC COVID-19 Outbreak Emergency Response Plan to further standardize the emergency response of COVID 19 outbreak, ensure the physical and mental health and life safety of employees, and maintain the normal operation order of the company.

5. Customers who order their own products online do not need to direct contact with our service team member. Our service team member will deliver the products directly to the customer's open trunk wearing masks and gloves. Our door-to-door delivery service is also provided by service team member wearing masks and gloves to deliver products to designated locations.
